I am eternally thankful to Sreeti for restoring my lovely glass beaded curtain. I found this one in Washington, DC around 1989 while visiting Northern China … The curtain was strung with thousands of glass beads on what appeared to be a fine cotton twine. It was starting to decay and I would find beads on the floor. I tried splicing pieces of nylon twine and used hemostats to clip the ends so no more beads would come off. It got to the point where I knew it needed professional help. I’m sure it was a daunting task for Sreeti to undertake, and I’m glad she did. The curtain is a work of art, a fine treasure.
